H. Dupont Silkwash – Silk Rinse & Colour Bleed Preventer

H. Dupont Silkwash is a professional silk rinse solution used during the first wash after silk painting and fixation. It helps prevent colours from bleeding into each other, especially when your artwork includes strong contrasts, very light shades, very dark colours, or detailed painted areas.

After the silk is painted and properly fixed, Silkwash is added to the first rinse water. It helps stabilise the wash process and keeps your silk artwork cleaner, sharper, and better protected during its first wash.

How to Use

Once the silk has been painted and fixed:

1. Add Silkwash to clean water.
2. Place the painted silk in the water.
3. Allow it to soak for 10–15 minutes.
4. Gently wring out by hand.
5. Dry as required.

50 ml Silkwash per 4 litres of water
