The Caran d'Ache Pencil Sharpening Machine is Swiss-made and constructed with solid metal that is built to last. It can be mounted to a desk, table or bookcase and has the ability to put a point on any round, hexagonal or triangular pencils and pastels, from 4 to 10mm in diameter. By pinching the butterfly clamps, the holding mechanism glides out to accept a pencil. Releasing the clamps firmly holds the pencil in position for sharpening. A removable metal drawer holds the shavings.
