This curated set includes the following essential colours: Titanium White (86), Raw Sienna (143), Ultramarine Blue Dark (253), Blockx Green Dark (563), Cadmium Yellow Pale (711) and Cadmium Red Light (823) together forming a balanced palette for mixing a wide range of tones, from subtle neutrals to bold, expressive hues.

BLOCKX oils are crafted in Belgium using the purest, highly lightfast pigments, combined with carefully selected oils most often poppy seed oil to ensure exceptional luminosity and long-term colour stability. Each pigment is processed individually at variable speeds, then slowly ground to avoid heat, preserving chromatic intensity and pigment integrity.

The majority of BLOCKX oil colours are mono pigment, formulated without fillers or unnecessary additives, resulting in an extra fine paint with remarkable concentration and vibrancy. Traditional grinding on prophyry stone, similar to hand grinding, ensures optimal fineness and smooth application.
